I got a PAC code on 17/09/2022 it is valid until 16/10/2022 - if i use this before it expires, do i still need to give a 30 notice period or will my contract end immediately?

No you won't need to provide us with 30 days notice if you port your number away as the account will be cancelled immediately once the port has completed. What's making you want to leave, if you don't mind me asking?

I'm not using my data and the price increase earlier in the year was too much so I've decided to change

If you're not using or need data then there is another MVNO which uses EE. You pay £36 upfront for 12 months' unlimited minutes, texts and 250Mb data per month. A quick mental arithmetic calculation results in £3/month for the year.🤔
