Up and running with linux/FTTC and ipv6 here after some initial problems caused by hardware, followed by lots of fiddling with configuration. Initially there were some issues with routing and the pppoe connection taking an age to connect but a fresh install later after some lessons learnt and it all seems to be up and running smoothly!
Found out the hard way that some linux distros disable ipv6 in firefox with the default install (about:config -> network.dns.disableIPv6 should be false in case you are having issues and want to check).
Also noticed that ipv4/ipv6 seem to have seperate speed profiles set as illustrated by this speed test (top in green = ipv4, bottom in blue = ipv6):

I guess you are probably aware of that though and this setup is just for the trial - hopefully when/if the setup goes live they will use the same profile or one will mirror the other.

I ran the same test and got 2.31 M bits/s for both ipv4 & ipv6.
FTTC at my exchange (Bracknell) keeps getting delayed, was Dec 2010 then Dec 2011 and currently 2012
