To clarify, did the Agent suggest that you move to a new 12 month contract starting immediately, before the conversation got around to the alleged shut down extension?

Alternatively, did they suggest that come next February you could take a 1 year contract and because of the switch off extension it would not be terminated early?

The suggestion was that I take a 12month contract  when my current contract ends in Feb. When I pointed out this over ran the PSTN closure date, he made his comment about further delay.
