When I got home today I could see that there had been a missed call to my phone line. However, when I looked on my phone to see who it was from it gave my own phone number, this was confirmed by dialling 1471 - home can I possibly phone myself! Is this something to do with the line being tested for whatever reason?
Glad I saw this thread - same thing happened to me last night - I answered the call to hear a number of musical tones -then a dead line -dialled 1471 -and got my own number read back to me!!
