Phone line died

Hello,

my phone line seems to be dead, I have no dial tone on the phone and no internet. I googled to see if there was any outages in the area but that came up empty although there could be an outage that just hasn't been reported yet. I also checked my bill had been paid just in case and it was so it's not that. I did see an openreach van drive past earlier so maybe they are doing something in the area but I dunno.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Small update: since the phone line died I have seen an openreach van at the telephone exchange/box thing across the road twice so I think they are doing something but my phone/internet is still not working.

Could a member of staff please test my line?

Hey,

It looks like there's a fault, I've tested your line and it's showing a "dis in network" so I've reported it to Openreach. Should fixed shortly. We've created a ticket 251443105 to monitor this.

Thank you Gandalf, I appreciate you testing the line and letting me know, I just got the email about the ticket, figured something was off when i saw the openreach people across the road twice, fingers crossed it gets sorted soon.

If anyone needs to contact me even just to tell me it's fixed please just respond on here as I'm telephonic so can't answer the phone.
