Permanently witheld number

Hello, I wish to have our landline number permanently withheld rather than prefixing with 1470 each time we make a call. Apparently this can be activated by Plusnet. Thank you.

Re: Permanently witheld number

Welcome to the Forum,

If you have your number permanently withheld you have to enter 1470 before a number you are calling if the person you are calling does not accept withheld numbers

141 is entered before a number to withhold your number if it is not withheld by your supplier.

You have it the wrong way round

Re: Permanently witheld number

Thank you for the reply, I got the prefix numbers muddled up but I still require our number to be permanently withheld as it was previously when we first joined Plusnet.  Thank you, John

Should be no problem once a Help Team member spots this topic.

Just remember to specify whether you want the version with, or without, the 1470 override option.

A complex system that does not work is invariably found to have evolved from a simpler system that worked just fine

Re: Permanently witheld number

Hi @JL63, thanks for getting in touch. I've raised a ticket on your account regarding getting withheld enabled on your account and the ticket I've updated that requires your attention can be seen here:
https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=view_question&id=21891195

Feel free to give us a nudge on here once you've updated the ticket and we'll happily get this picked up and progressed further for you.

Re: Permanently witheld number

Hi @JL63, thanks for getting back and confirming. If you could please add a comment onto the ticket on your account confirming this then I can get this in place for you.

If after logging into the member center you paste https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=view_question&id=21891195 into the address bar or a new tab then it should show the open ticket with an option to add a comment on there. Feel free to give me a nudge on here after doing so.

Re: Permanently witheld number

Hi John, I've picked this up for you and I've placed an order to withhold your number with the override option. This should be working within 24 hours. Let us know if there's anything else you'd need help with.
