Hi, I rang Plusnet on 17th August to discuss my account. I was told my existing account was old and couldn't change the package so needed to set up a new account but was assured I could keep my landline number. I agreed and proceeded to open a new account. I then received an email confirming a new phone number so I rang to enquire as I was told I could keep the number on my old account. I was told it would be passed on to the support team who will deal with it within 2 days. I rang again, today, and was told that the new account has to be active and that the number will be changed on the day and an email to confirm this will be sent (nothing received so far).
I need some clarity on this as quite frankly I'm tempted to just cancel everything and look elsewhere as I keep getting different information depending who picks up
