Re: Do PN block override providers?

Override providers are normally a 4 digit number you can dial before a call, to route the call via another carrier. The new carrier bears the cost of the entire call, and they pass this on to the customer.
We don't block these from working.
Infact, the 1260 prefix is provided to ensure you can force calls via us (only when you have Home Phone with us). It's used as part of the diagnostics process when outbound call problems occur, to verify if there is a CPS service.
CPS, or carrier pre-select, is the bigger brother of override codes. In effect, they are used to automatically force all calls via a override code. Doesn't stop you using another override code though, or using  1260 to force it via your line provider.
