New fastest time for me , still with auto box - 1.45.322

My quickest time is only 1:47.927
I know I can improve, this is the first time using manual in a game, so not exactly sure when to shift.

I tried the manual out , but couldnt beat my time with an auto.

I have not got a time up yet but will do when i can get a chance at some stage over the weekend, This week i plan on breaking bustermagic's winning streak!

You sure it was a 'clean' lap, if not it goes much lower down on the board.
@Steve M: Is there any reason why the tracks chosen so far are all fake ones? And the cars all FWD? I might be tempted to join in with some better tracks and more exciting cars I'll not win, but I'll have more fun trying.

@ Ben Brown no theres no reason for FWD and fake Track's, this is only the comp's 3rd week and starting off gently till theres enough interest before up-ing the anti
Edit, In my experience people like Maple Valley and the old New York Circuit, But i could be wrong, Dont worry RWD and REAL track's are coming soon so can we put your name down?

I'm not sure I have much more to shave off the time I've just posted - your last time was really quick and it took quite some time to get even close.

I agree , I thought mine was pretty good , but I think I will struggle to get faster than yours which is like 8 tenths faster!
But I will certainly give it a go lol

Hi,
I'd like to join the competition if possible, to be honest I ain't very good and may not be able to commit to competing lots due to many other non gamer commitments. Also I know I can get nowhere neat some of the times posted but its nice to have a measure and aspirational goals.
I did the Maple Raceway with the Focus RS last night got a 1.48 ish time, I'll post the it once I get home.
Gives me a nice incentive to get to grips with a manual gb now.
BTW..my gamertag is the same as my forum id.
