- Playstation 4
- DMZ: on
- Port forwarding: off
- Technicolor 582n
- Static IP
- Game mode: off (I tried with on but no effect)
Anyone else was able to solve these problems by changing routers? I'm getting quite disappointed because I can't get a decent session online.

Quote from: Ben Hi Guys,
Could you try to run the following commands via telnet on the 582n and see if it helps:
:connection bind application=CONE(UDP) port=3658
:connection bind application=CONE(UDP) port=10070
:saveall
Thanks,
Ben
I tried, but it didn't worked.

Did you get any messages back from the cmd line when you entered them? Did it look successful?

In the meantime I was able to correctly setup a NAT 2. Not sure what I did though... If anyone needs a specific setting, tell me and I'll reply with the value on my router.
However, it would be great if I was able to set it to NAT 1. Does anyone knows how?

Exactly the same. I'm on ADSL btw and my ps4 is hard wired in. I also tried port forwarding which made no difference and i have disabled game mode, upnp and extended security.
The situation seemed to improve when i put the PS4 in DMZ but it will still happen about once or twice every night. The router loses connection to everything, All lights on the router start flashing and i have to switch the router off and on for it to sort itself out.
I have bought a different router so i will try and see if that sorts the issue out.
Has there been any progress or news that Plusnet can give us???

Welcome to the forums!
Sorry to hear that you're seeing issues here, while it does sound like you're seeing the same error messages as a few other who were having issues, it sounds like the problem you have is totally different given that the router sounds like it is dropping the connection completely rather than just managing the Destiny traffic incorrectly.
As you can see in the graph below, your connection has been up and down a few times along with some periods of total connection loss for a hours at a time which is more than likely going to be the issues you're seeing here.

It sounds like the DMZ trick fixed the NAT issue so I think that you could well be suffering with either an intermittent line fault or a possible (but unlikely) faulty router. As such, I would suggest running through the checks and test on your side to make sure that the fault isn't local to yourself, you can do this by testing from the test socket in order to rule out any internal wiring. If this doesn't fix the issue, we'll need to look at testing another router and possibly raising a fault with the supplier on your behalf.
