Can't connect to Fortnite servers..

Hi,

Xbox One: factory settings with latest update, fresh install of Fortnite, connected to Plusnet Hub One router with LAN cable. Profile is adult without restrictions. All games and apps appear to work perfectly. Network tests are good. 

However, the game Fortnite won't connect to its servers, stating 'connectivity problem connecting to Fortnite servers'.

Disconnect the LAN and use a mobile hotspot and the same Xbox/account etc. Fortnite connects first-time, every-time and the game works perfectly.

Therefore, there's an Xbox/router compatibility problem, or router setting change needed, or there's a Plusnet issue. But just for Fortnite.

Anyone else experienced this, or have any advice or guidance, it would be appreciated.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues connecting to Fortnite’s servers. While we’re not aware of any compatibility issues between our router and Xbox consoles, I’ve run a test on your line and found no faults affecting your service. I would suggest to get in contact with Epic Games support if you are having issues with connectivity.
