upgrading to fibre 74

Hi all, was just trying to upgrade to fibre 74 on the website in my account and the offered package says a router is included - the next screen asks me to purchase a router as my old one is not compatible - can anyone clarify this please.

What is your current router and what service/package are you currently on?

@Pete-21 are you sure its not just asking you to pay P & P ( £6.99 or is ot £7.99 now ? )

@Pete-21

Which PN router do you have?

https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/router-setup-guides/

Are you upgrading to Fibre (FTTC) or Full Fibre (FTTP)?

Yes, the phone line is going sometime in the relatively near future. Are you happy losing it or do you want to keep your number on a VOIP service?

Re: upgrading to fibre 74

adding a router to an included router is one more router than i actually want or need

So, @Pete-21 , are you saying you currently have a Hub2?

@Pete-21 did you mean to reply to my last post, but instead hit the wrong button?

No, if you click the 'Add Hub 2 router' you'll just be charged the P & P. The 'included' means the normal £99 charge for a new router is included

Re: upgrading to fibre 74

@Pete-21  Router included still means you have to pay P&P charge.

Re: upgrading to fibre 74

No. They are offering you the new Hub 2 router with the package, you can buy your own if you want.

They are simply asking for £6.99 for the P&P, which is pretty standard nowadays.

You can also send your old PlusNet (assuming it is a PlusNet one) back for Recycling free.
