It's actually the bit at the end that matters. It should say O/H Feed plus something.

As stated KCI2 means a survey is required. If you're around when they do it you get a chance to speak to them about the install. For example you could confirm where the ONT will be located. However it might produce bad news along the lines of we can't do it at the minute due to capacity issues or major work required on the pole.

Time will tell.

Have they actually given you a 'confirmed' install date then ? or is it just 'we expect to install...'

Normally, a KCI2 Assure' process would give a survey appointment date (usually within a week) and then a confirmed date once any preparatory work is complete.

Maybe they (Openreach) have decided they don't need to visit your property for the survey, just the pole, and so don't need an actual appointment.

I'm happy you can now order FTTP. Sometimes the 330 speed is temporary until the database updates to 1000, sometimes it is a restriction until BTWholesale upgrade their backend, but good you ordered 300 so no problem.

Yes, I had to choose an engineers visit date when I signed up for Plusnet’s 300 Full Fibre package. Soonest date was 3rd week of September, 2026 that is.

O/H feed traffic management required 

Means that vehicular traffic needs to be stopped whilst the fibre cable is run across the road from the pole to the property.

Doesnt sound like a big deal...

As stated there's nothing major listed against the install. The available speed plus the equipment that appears to be on the pole suggests Full Fibre has been available for a good long while using a previous method of install.

It's now a case of waiting for the Survey to see what that says.

Yeh, the neighbour had his full fibre installed the other week and they used one of those cherry picker vans. No traffic was stopped but they were hurling cables around trees to get to the pole in my driveway from the main pole.
