Interesting that the green box at eye level contains those 'plastic trays for fibre'. 

Could you do a picture of the other side of the top of the pole to see if there is a CBT box at the top?

As already stated it's really the other side of the pole we need to see so we can figure out what boxes are up there.

Thanks, yeh the sun is always the wrong place but took 2 of other side and there was also a junction box halfway up the pole. I think they may need another pole soon!

I don't see a CBT either, but although not perfectly clear, I can see what could well be a manifold similar to the one in the image I posted in Message #8 of this thread.

It's at lower left of the group of installed equipment and there appears to be a blown-fibre feeder cable entering at the bottom and several cables exiting at the top end.

It'd be interesting to learn how long FTTP has been available at this location/pole.

Great news!
Received email from Openreach to say I’m good to go for full fibre.
Just signed up to Plusnet full fibre 300 via Uswitch with no messages saying it’s not available.
I was concerned when I saw the empty barbers next door had full fibre available to them. They’ve been out of business for years.

Good to hear.

Have a look at the following. Note the video is wrong re power sockets. As the router connects via ethernet cable it can go anywhere you're happy to run said cable.

Glad to hear it.

So what does  https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome now say for your address?

It'll be interesting to see whether you will be connected via the (BFT) manifold already installed on the pole, or if you'll have to wait for a CBT to be fitted.

Did the OR email give a reason as to why Full Fibre wasn't originally listed at your address?

As hinted by @RobPN it would be interesting to know what the Checker now says for your address. To the right of WBC FTTP should be a message like 2Stage, 1Stage or KCI2

Below the results window should be a line of narrative about the actual install which might indicate if problems are anticipated.

That aside, it's always good to hear how the install actually goes.

Thanks, guys.

The Broadband Availability Checker - WBC FTTP (previously FTTP on Demand) under header “ FTTP Install Process” shows ‘KCI2 Assure’ but the other data on that line still reads the same though, eg Downstream Line Rate (Mbps) reads ‘Up to 330’ etc., so no change there.

My lines:
WBC SOADSL 2+
SOADSL Max
SOADSL Fixed rate
have all now disappeared.

New lines are:
“Our records show the following FTTP network service info for these premises - Single Dwelling Unit … etc”

“FTTP is available and a new ONT may Be ordered” - this line replaces “FTTP is not available”.

So yes, that’s great news!!!

Openreach did not say why the premises was not listed for full fibre in their email, only “Congratulations, you can now get Full Fibre on the Openreach network at …”
I must have slipped through the cracks somehow, think it was the Barbers fault!

That's not so good!. It means that Openreach will first arrange a survey to see what work needs doing to provide FTTP. Having assessed the work they will then schedule it, and finally, when completed, they will arrange another visit to complete the installation.

Its unusual to see KCI2 Assure for an O/H supply , normally its for an U/G install where there's no ducting and digging is likely.

It could be due to the possible lack of a CBT

Yeh, the actual install is a month away so I’m guessing they’ll be round to do some checks.

My neighbour had his done the other week which needed my permission over my property which is what started all of this.
Everything here is overhead just now. New builds not so much.
