Is anyone using the BT Call Guardian phones with FTTP VoIP?
If so, do you still get all the call guardian facilities?

The BT Call Guardian phones use TrueCall technology, don't they?
I've got a TrueCall box connected to the 'fon' socket of a Fritzbox router. It works as it should. Our BT DECT answerphone base is connected to the TrueCall box and that works properly as well.
The call blocking feature of your BT Call Guardian phone works from its DECT base, so it should function as intended with a VoIp service
The Fritzbox router is connected to a Plusnet FTTP service and our VoIP provider is A&A. We make quite a few phone calls per month and we've never had a bill more than £4.
I connected the fon socket of the Fritzbox to the phone socket of the BT master socket so that I could connect the Truecall unit and the DECT answerphone base to an extension socket my study bedroom. It saves having the clutter around the router.

@Jones Thanks, that's reassuring to know.
You're correct, my BT phones use TrueCall.
Are you with Plusnet for your FTTP? You mention the Fritzbox but I thought these were supplied by Zen.

@RealAleMadrid I read it, but that's what I didn't understand. Is a Fritzbox router freely available? I've never heard of them.

Zen supply Fritzbox routers, but I used some of the money that I saved by not moving to Zen to buy my own. It's the cheapest one that they make, a 4050 . It's WiFi 6 and fibre only. Better ex-Zen ones are for sale on CEX.
I knew nothing. I followed the instructions on the A&A website to set it up. It works a treat 😁.

Look at https://uk.webuy.com/search?stext=fritzbox%20routers
I use a 7530 on my FTTP service. The AX version was WiFi6.

@bazzer ,
If I was setting up now I would consider this:
A&A sell to their telephony customers the router that they supply to their broadband customers, the WiFi 6 Zyxel DX3301. It's reasonably priced, has two phone sockets and it works with fibre and DSL.
Apparently it sets itself up when it is connected to an A&A account 😲.
Other VoIP providers will probably sell something similar.
