Router Auth fault

Hi,

I had a router auth fault, Faults2.

Moved house bringing my old router & account with me.
The house previously had no broadband so open reach booked to come fit a plug.
Engineer arrived and surprised to see fibre had been fitted externally already but no internal plug.
He has fitted a plug and tested all ok his end.

Router still showing solid orange spoke to customer service who advised it’s an auth fault, tried resets etc.

Currently another engineer booked but given the first guy tested it as fine, I’m not sure what additional use the engineer will be.

After some googling I found this thread:

https://community.plus.net/t5/Full-Fibre/Strange-apparent-router-authentication-failure/td-p/1888919...

I wondered if I might be facing the same issue?

When you say they "ftted a plug" that doesn't sound like full fibre.

Is there a box like this
