If that 630Mb is wireless then TBH that's pretty good for a Hub 2. Given that it's only WiFi 5 I would have expected closer to 450Mb!
Is that link speed or data download? My USB Wi-Fi dongle typically connects at around 600 - 800 Mbps to the Hub 2 on 5 GHz (from the router log). I have at least once (when I was watching) seen it connect at 866 Mbps. I don't know the maximum data rate as I am on 150 Mbps FF and so that is my limit.

I think those helping will benefit knowing what your current setup is.
Apart from the Openreach ONT what else is there? I see mentioned a TP-Link AXE75, TP-Link ER707 and Hub Two
Which router are you currently using, any wireless access points, any powerline adapters, how are devices connected?
When using the ER707 what provided your WiFi?

@pvmb As it says 'fast.com', it is a speed test, but I have heard that particular site is not very accurate.

@pvmb d
Is that link speed or data download?
Data download. Seems like the OP got those results from a different wireless AP.

Thank you that is helpful.
For the Hub two it is easy to see which band a device has connected; by viewing >Home -->My devices using the Hub management screen.
The Hub Two provides 2.4GHz and WiFi 5, the real data speeds of up to 76 Mbps (2.4GHz) or 460 Mbps (5 GHz) can be expected. Both are dependant on the Wireless Network card being used in your device.
If you see a maximum speedtest results of around 96Mbps with a 5GHz band or wired connection then a possible cause could be a faulty cable.
To reduce wireless interference; Speedtest are best performed on a wired connection.
The Hub >Home -->Status or >Home ->Advanced settings -->Information log display; the WAN link speed, which is expected to be 1000 Mbps.
EDIT: if the testing PC has both a WiFi and LAN connection, make sure the WiFi adapter is turned off or in a disconnected state

Ok, I tink we need to establish whether this is just a wifi problem or a problem with the broadband connection.
@Michael16 First , can you actually post the status screen from the Hub 2 so we can see the WAN connection speed (although given that some wireless speeds are above 100Mb I cant see that being the problem )
Second, can you do a wired test from the laptop
