It is not a bug, it is intentional.

Are you set as an authorised user on this account with plusnet? If you are that should allow to speak to support on the phone.
You could always add it now yourself, found under 'manage my account'
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Spoke to plusnet over the phone we did LIVE video, they got me to reset the ont and plusnet router and then check cables, they checked via video that the ont was light correctly and the router.
There was a couple of issues during the video call, it would only work over my phone data when connected to plusnet router the wifi video would not work which is odd yet via cable to the pc everything works. The lady said she dont understand why the links they sent me to do the video call would not work via plusnet own router.
I ran speedtests on the plusnet router and they were back showing correct speeds but the high latency is still showing on BQM. I was told they can not do anything about latency and that all they need to do is provide the speeds im paying for and check im getting them if all tests show working then latency is nothing they can do anything about.
I did explain that when i use the internet and get high latency then the speeds tend to drop. I will monitor the latency over the next few hours with only my pc connected.
It does look like my router could be to blame but plusnet router wifi always disconnects so i explained the the advisor this is why i need my own router for better wifi push. The advisor did agree that the router is not great for wifi and plusnet are aware of that.
I explained that with my current asus router i was getting 800meg 40 feet away on my mobile phone so the wifi was much better.
Plan is now to monitor current setup and run a full factory reset on the asus router which ive had for about 12 months now had no issues with old isp it worked fine.
I do understand that asus routers firmware can sometimes play up, anyways from the plusnet side of things they reported that all test passed but could not understand why their video support call would not work on their router/connection.
And some speedtest sites failed to load when they asked me to try others apart from fast.com, i got messages saying disable my vpn but i explained im not on a vpn and never ever used one.
So for now its working yes but still scratching my head at some sites not working correctly, i asked could it be a dns problem and was told no... your tests all appear to be showing fine.
The lady on the phone was very patient and helpful
She was suprised to see that my ont was installed with the box on the inside of the house that should have been installed ont he outside wall.
mines not a grey box its a small white box on the inside with the fibre wrapped up inside it and then next to the ont.
At the time the guy who installed it said it would be best to install inside with it being an upstairs install.
What i do need to try and find out now is why the asus router is dropping connection and if it is that causing latency then why...

@Stillgame2026 I'll let @Dan_the_Van confirm or deny this, but the details in that log you provided earlier (please reinstate it) pointed to a external network issue, which probably wasn't visible whilst you were talking to support.

Ok here it is again, still getting high latency spikes on my BGM while on the Plusnet router. Support didnt ask for the logs i did explain that i had made a post here but they never asked any more of it.

Speeds seam to be ok via wired but wifi just wont connect and if it does it soon drops. Everything was working fine until couple days ago.

The partial BQM graph doesn't point to any real issues - despite those spikes. Support do not have access to these forums, and even if they saw the logs, they wouldn't have a clue what they were looking at - they are merely reading from scripts, and have no technical experience/knowledge.
