High Resistance Fault Impacting Speed and Stability

Since I cannot chat to anyone on the phone or via instant chat I resulted in contacting a friend of mine that works at BT.

He ran a test of my line and he was returned with the following results:

Service Layer Data Stability Assessment: Amber

Server Layer Data Speed Assessment: Very Bad

Sync Speed: 23.2 Mbps (Should be getting near to triple this).

I am told in the event of this fault customers are usually swapped to a different pair of lines.

I also have a friend that works for Kelly's Group but without this being logged he cannot come out to take a look.

Unsure what I can do at this point, hopefully a staff member on this Forum will respond.

To add to the speed issues I have had a number of drop outs lasting around 30 Minutes a time.

Re: High Resistance Fault Impacting Speed and Stability

Managed to get through to the technical team in the call centre, I just had to press the new customer option. Rather than the existing customer option.

Engineer scheduled to visit to investigate the issue that seems to be outside the premises.

Looks like a battery contact fault - ETA late on the 14th but this is subject to change.
