Full Fibre not installed as problems...

Today an engineer came to install full fibre but there problems with collapsed ducts. He said Open reach would contact me about a survey in about a week. Do I need to contact Plusnet about this? So difficult to contact you. The phone line had a 20 minute+ wait and no other form of contact. We still have internet as phone line still intact. Do you @ Plusnet need to know the situation or is it all handled by Open reach. Have had a text from them to say to make a new appointment for installation once the necessary work is done.
Some help on this matter would be gratefully received.
