@pvmb - so any ISP using the OR  infrastructure can supply it.

Just going back to the original topic for a moment, I don’t have a ‘grey box’ or proper CSP.

My fibre comes via a pole at the bottom of the garden to the apex of my gable end (same as my phone wire) and I got the engineer to install the ONT in the attic from where I have a lengthy cat6a to the router in my study. He did the splice for the ONT connection (quite a snazzy automated box of tricks) but just had a little white snap-top box which he mounted on the wall beside the ONT and coiled the spare fibre inside it. Same function, just not the usual CSP.
