Dead ONT

Hi everyone,

I have done a house move and the ONT on the new premises is dead.  My problem is that I am out of the country and unable to phone support.

How do I get the issue logged and how do I schedule the replacement/fix for when I return on the 2nd-4th January?

Thank you in advance!

@matthewmm

When you say dead, do you mean there is no green power light or do you mean no signal.

It the ONT is faulty then OpenReach would need access to replace it.

A staffie will pick up on this at some point but it may take a while.

Re: Dead ONT

Hi @matthewmm

I'm really sorry for how long it's taken to get back to you. We've been quite busy recently so it's taking longer than we'd like to reply.

I've booked the soonest available timeslot for the dates you've given above.

If this isn't convenient or needs changing let me know

As of the 1st of January 2026, I no longer work in Plusne,t so I'll be unable to assist you with any queries.
