When you get the Hub2 it can be plugged in straight away. The one thing you have to change on it is the WiFi credentials. Login to the Router Admin page and change them to what you're already using. On the day of the FF install you simply change cables.
Whatever you do don't speak to BT. Cancelling the phone before changing to Full Fibre could cancel your PN account. The phone will be cancelled as part of the upgrade by PN. Note that is still in contract for the phone there may be Early Termination Charges applied.
The following is info on the Full Fibre install. Note the viseo is wrong re power sockets. The router connects via ethernet cable so can go anywhere you're happy to run said cable.
