Thanks for the update guy's. I haven't been able to use www.blu-ray.com over the weekend fully (it does sometimes load), as whenever a connection is made to hwcdn.net services, it doesn't seem to be able to establish.

Just to add to this, as it seems to be very similar, the HSBC phone app appears to not be working now either.
For the last 4 days or so, there has been an update that  stops at around 12%
Removed app, cleared data, cache, etc.
I tried this morning and it failed again, so I went out. As soon as I switched to 4G data, it pulled the update down in seconds.

Imgur has been slow as hell on PN anyway, but it's breathtaking that one of the biggest sites on the internet has been nigh on unreachable for days.

The other sites listed in here are not related to the same issue and we do not apply rate limits to our current products. If you're experiencing issues with other sites, please start these on a new thread for clarity.

No, nothing to do with traffic shaping. The likelihood is an issue with the IWF filter as alluded to by others.

I've been having problems both yesterday and today trying to connect to various websites, some of which do not use CDN's. The problem appears random and for random periods of time. Many of my friends have also noticed similar problems. Some are with Plusnet or BT, some aren't.
It's not a problem with my personal internet connection, nor a DNS issue. Furthermore I do not surf porn websites, so it's not a filter issue as far as I am aware.
At times it's so bad the internet becomes unusable for a couple of minutes.

Thanks for getting onto this. It suddenly seems to have started working again for me (within the last couple of hours). Is this a result of something you discovered?

Are you sure about that? imgur, nexusmods (staticdelivery.nexusmods.com), thesecretworld.com (l3cdn.funcom.com) all appear to have the similar symptom of struggling to slowly squeeze data through the IWF proxy. If it's not the same problem, then there seems to be two different problems with the IWF filter.
http://www.blu-ray.com/ seems to be working fine for me.

www.blu-ray.com isn't working for me today, it was on occasion yesterday, but looking at the ports being opened, a connection to address 69.16.175.42 (tlb.hwcdn.net) is in the sent state but never establishes.
A trace route to that address shows it going through the IWF filter.
