When would upgrade to Fiber speed happen?

Hi,

Been on normal unlimited fiber for 14 months, but thought i would see what additional speed i could get, based on the line checker i thought it was worth it so did the product upgrade online to Unlimited extra, was told it would be activated today (though had no emails or messages to say so)

Does anyone have any idea when the speed increase will occur and do i need to manually reboot the router for a resync to happen? My account says the product is active but haven't seen any changes in speed so far.

Have you checked in your Closed Questions on the Member Centre, to see if there are any secret messages about provisioning dates ?

Checking the list of closed questions, shows that the Fibre Extra service should have gone live at 02:00 this morning....

I have now raised a fault and its currently showing as there is an issue somewhere and has been raised to the faults team and supplier (Openreach?). Looks like there could be an issue with my IP profile as i'm stuck at my previous speed and the router hasn't resynced.

Looking at my line stats, the maximum data rate showing is around 50Mbit and the speed checker said between 48-63MBits estimate, current DL is 35Mbits with a SNR of 11.5 and UL is 8Mbits with a SNR of 6.5 - which is where i would expect it to be.

BT Engineer been today and fixed the problem with the line, now up to 50Mbit/s
