Slowing fibre/dropouts

Hi my connection dropped out a few days ago and since then has been unstable and has dropped connection a few times more.my speeds dropped 4mbs also and having checked the router instead of a 39.99 dload im down to 36 can anyone look into this as it makes a difference in a busy house.
