New fibre customer not happy

Ordered phone line and broadband on 3rd December, phoneline installed on 15th, had an email today saying new fibre activation date is 06.01.16!!!! Another 3 weeks away phoned helpline to ask why they cannot get an engineer before then - it takes five minutes to flick a damn switch had exactly same issues with bt last year

Unfortunately we had to install your phone line first before we could place a fibre order.
We'll get you up and running as soon as we can.

The engineer that fitted the phone line asked us if we had the router as he checked the Internet line and said it was live!  When it can't be if we have to wait 3 more weeks and it's a 2 min Job as a bt engineer has told me
