Issues with my connection

 

Hi,

Is there a chance that someone could have a look at my line speed please as last night the blue internet light on my youview box kept blinking on and off!

Today my internet speed is just over 1meg and i usually get 44 meg.

 

 

I have done a BT line check but i keep getting a browser timeout and the check fails.

Hi Bob,

Sorry for the late reply, I have just moved house.

The reason my internet had issues was because Plusnet was in the process of moving my Broadband to my new House!

Sorry for wasting your time as it was a mistake on my behalf and not plusnet.

Hi Bob,

yes i am still having issues with my line.

My speed is up and down and my ip profile is set to 36mb which contridicts what it says on my account.

I have posted elsewhere on this forum hoping to get some help but to no avail.

Would you please have a look for me as yesterday my line speed dropped to 19 mb.

Sorry to hear you're having issues.

Can you carry out a speedtest here over a wired connection with nothing running in the background?

Hi Matthew,

I spoke to a member of plusnet on chat earlier and they did some tests and confirmed i have an issue and that they will be running tests over the next few days and a ticket has been raised with the faults team.

What has been happening is my line speed has been intermitent varying from 19 mb to 34 and running a BT speed check confirms this.fingers crossed my line gets sorted!
