Fibre dropped from 25 to 15
Im on the fibre unlimited package and have been connecting steadily at 25 to 27mb for the last two years.
To be fair Ive never had any problems, had one line fault about 2 months ago which was causing disconnects, but that got fixed really quick...
Anyway i connected back at 25 but lately, specifically these last two weeks, my connection has dropped to 15mb, 16 at most.
When i did the bt broadband speed check on the Further Diagnostics it used to say 28mb max achievable speed and i notice now it only says 17.45mb.
I phoned plusnet to ask what was going on and they got back to me after "checks" and said :
"your connection is stable. If you are experiancing connection drops (which Im not) youre having internal network issues that we cannot fully support"
that was it.
Doesnt really answer my problem.
So, some help please? Why am i suddenly only on 15mb when Ive been on 25mb since i joined?
