Yup. Messages time out for me on PlusNet, but work on my mobile.
Mind you, maybe the mobile site has different routing again... Haven't checked that...
I did check various IP addresses returned for mesg.ebay.co.uk by different DNS servers, though, and the routing seemed to be the same for all of those.
Down Detector has noticed something's up.

Also when I rang the technical department asking for help and I explained I get no ping response their answer was "sorry we only go as far installing the line and if your speeds are fine then there is nothing we can do".
Because of this issue I wasn't able to use a voucher to buy goods which then expired thus I lost out money. IF PN are responsible then I hope they do the moral thing and compensate me accordingly.

There are still problems today with routing to various ebay subdomains including mesg.ebay.co.uk
It's an honour to have such 'special' routing on the rare occasion we need to use the site, of course(!) -- but it is also a bit of a pain; so if it could possibly be investigated, please?...
Works on a 4G data connection, so maybe a peering issue?...

A few things seem to be going wrong this morning.
Even Hermes classic site disappeared leaving just the mobile site version which I find appalling to use on a PC.
Thankfully that was only temporary as I find the mobile version so useless and so slow that it's quicker for me just to walk to the post office.

Ebay has been spiking my cpu with all browsers like crazy since I upgraded to Windows 10, unrelated but thought I swould see if anyone else has issue?

As I said to begin with, its almost certainly a problem with a backbone router in LINX London, seems that plusnet haven't found a way around it, or its beyond their control, this may well be a partner of BT, who plusnet bolt onto for internet traffic...
I VPN to france and it works fine, so that's a workaround if anyone needs it

This is being looked into and we've reported it to eBay for investigation too.

Considering the number of days this problem has persisted I would have thought any investigation would have long since finished and that steps were already being taken to correct this annoying fault.

As far as I'm aware it was reported to eBay prior to the weekend and they're looking in to it.
This isn't something just affecting Plusnet customers:
