DLm Reset / VDSL Profile Change Request

Hi,

Our line got taken out in the storm, Openreach replaced it and the engineer said that we had a bad connection in the pole box and thought that we could of had a lower speed then the line could report, he said to contact you to ask if you are able to reset the DLM / Profile and let the line re train its self

are you able to do this?

Thanks

@willjmoo1111   Welcome to the forum.

This is something that Openreach has to do and it’s really unacceptable  that it wasn’t done as part of the repair by Openreach. Plusnet can only request a reset if the line has been banded. Otherwise you have to wait for the DLM to do it automatically.

Re: DLm Reset / VDSL Profile Change Request

Hi there @willjmoo1111 I'm glad to see the line fault has been fixed, I've just been running some diagnostic tests on your connection and I can see automation has done it's job and brought the speeds back up to where they were before. Do let me know if you're seeing any issues on your side though.
