Bad Ping? = Netflix / Gaming

From the start of having PSNET Ive had okay ping however, since the mrs is streaming netflix I cant play online (pc) at all.. as my ping goes from 20 - 150 with in a second this happens frequently. Wondering if anyone has any fixes, someone has suggested getting a new router.

Im using a wired connection to my PC and the smart TV streaming netflix is also using a wired connection.

I'm sorry that you're experiencing problems with your connection and for any inconvenience that this is causing you. I've tested your line but the test hasn't picked up the cause of this problem from here and indicates that your line is currently syncing at 79.9mbps down and 20mbps up, which is at the top end of its estimates:
