+24 hours without Internet

Hi, normally I'd ring but have a horrible cold at the moment.

Since at least 9am yesterday we've been without Internet access, the orange power light is constantly flashing. Have done all the normal checks, wires, connections etc but to no avail. Land line works no problem. Getting very frustrated with it now and desperately need help.

I'm sorry to hear that your connection isn't working. We've tested your line and identified a potential external issue.

This has been raised to our suppliers so that they can investigate further and we'll update you as soon as we know more.

Thanks for the reply. Wonder if it's connected to the new house's being built about 1/4 mile away, although our neighbours don't have any problems.

Our tests are stating there may be an issue at the local cabinet but we'll know more once they've updated us further

It looks like ongoing issues at the cabinet, just driven past it on the way home and there is three openreach vans and several people working there.

And we're back online! Fingers crossed.
