new joomla install/ssh access

Hey,
This is my first post, but everyone seems pretty helpful so lets see if I can get this all sorted... I am fairly new to webhosting, although not to things technical, but I can't seem to google my way out of this yet!
I am setting up a new joomla install on the ccgi server, but every time I go to do anything I end up with errors about files not having correct permissions. Now that there is no SSH access I am unable to run the fixphpperms.sh file to get this sorted, and short of changing permissions one by one through my FTP program I can't find a way to use my site!
Any suggestions please?!
Cheers,
tonypanda

Hi there,
Not sure what FTP program you're using but the FireFTP Firefox extension lets you bulk modify permissions via the context menu as per the screengrabs below.

Cheers for that - I've done it in fireftp just now, takes a lot longer but all sorted.
