These days I am used to having to allow Cloudflare checks when accessing the Plusnet Forum from my computer. But this, seemingly the other way around, on my phone is new:
Allow site to access your local network?
This let's the site connect to hardware like smart TVs or your home router.
Only allow this if you trust
https://community.plus/net/
X Remember choices
Deny Allow
I chose 'Deny' and everything seems to be working as normal.

No idea, @pvmb , but why would plusnet need to access your local network? You are, IMO, quite correct in denying it.

There is an existing topic about this, but nobody seemed to have been convinced by the 'official' answer.

I get the same message on other sites so it’s not just Plusnet, more likely a browser problem.

It seems potentially that if somebody copy/pastes from the event log screen on the router (not saving as csv), then an img is embedded in the text which we can't see on the forum but which triggers that message to appear.
This is the 'view source' from one post.
EDIT: I think only happens when copying/pasting multiple rows of the event log when viewing on a mobile phone.

It is possibly an image for blank space or maybe the separator and possibly the image has been generated for that page session (because I can't seem to access the url via my desktop).
I guess it may also happen on desktop depending on if the copy/paste is copying to clipboard in html and is including links to other media.
EDIT: I think it needs to be an image link to a file that doesn't exist.
Doesn't work if you try and force the link in the forum. Needs to be <img> with url.

secure.lloydsbank.co.uk wants to
Access other apps and services on this device
Google says : The "Access other apps and services on this device" prompt is a security feature in modern web browsers like Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge that manages Local Network Access (LNA)
