Reverse DNS change

Hi,

I didn't find any options to change my reverse DNS in my plus net member centre. I've seen others have their's changed through plusnet community. Could anyone help me with this?

Can I have mine changed to a subdomain of a domain that I control (but the DNS isn't hosted at PlusNet). The A record is already set to my static IP.

Harry

Re: Reverse DNS change

Hi @harryyoud, thanks for getting in touch and I'd be happy in helping adjust your reverse DNS for you.
If you could please drop me a private message confirming which of the below options you'd prefer in regards to your rDNS change; there are 3 options available:
1 - username.plus.com – This is the default setting.
2 - IP.plus.com - 1-1-1-1.plus.com as an example.
3 - anything.domain.com - e.g. mail.bbc.co.uk – To use this option you will need to configure the forward record on the domain. We are required to prove you own the domain before any changes can be made and this will serve as verification. The domain can be hosted on the account or externally. Please confirm which of the above you would like to be configured.

I look forwards to hearing from you further.
