Since moving to Plusnet I keep getting asked by google to confirm I am not a bot ? ( Google asks you to confirm you are not a bot when its anti-bot systems detect suspicious activity or unusual traffic patterns from your network or browsing behavior )
I took screenshots all I did was search for new boilers.
Why might this be popping up often ? I use brave browser and firefox and use cloudflare dns I dont use vpns.
Never had this with my last isp and been with Plusnet just over 1 month now.
Any ideas why I keep being flagged as a bot ?
I also have norton 360 installed which is free from plusnet and no virus or malware being picked up.
Also some sites indicate im on a vpn when im not.

My BQM seams normal i think
This next one in the screenshot was from a few days ago and how its kinda been looking since i switched to Plusnet, odd thing is most of the yellow spikes we were not using the internet at the time... or could that be from skyQ or using whatsapp maybe ? Seams alot of yellow spikes for a connection only really streaming tv in evenings at most.

Now wondering is there an issue with my connection ?
I mean it seams to run fine.

Is Norton 360 one of these security packages that runs all your browser data through a proxy or a VPN tunnel ?

It may simply be that Google is used to seeing your account connecting from one ISP (and thus IP address range) and is now seeing you on another and wants to confirm it's really you.
I get random "click all the bridges" etc. from time to time.
It might just settle down.

@Stillgame2026 I don't think the yellow max latency spikes are anything to worry about. The average latency is steady - large increases in that would be more concerning. The max latency can be due to an occasional packet being delayed at any of the steps between your router and the BQM machine - and remember that ICMP packets are treated as the lowest priority.

I have had loads of yellow spikes for just over 1 month now, only in the last 2 days have they stopped and nothing has changed my side.
Thanks for the advice @corringham @markhawkin @PhilipHeyes 👍
