Don't worry where Google thinks you are, obviously the changeover gave you a new IP, and maybe that was last used in the Glasgow area. Google thinks I'm usually in Hounslow - I'm not, I'm in Sheffield!
Your phoneline will still possibly still have a dial tone for a couple of days, but when PN confirm the change has completed, you are safe to to port the number.
