Domain transfer "unlock" request

Hi,

I'd like some help in requesting an unlocking my domain, I like to transfer my domain to and during the process I get "Please ensure you have unlocked your domain at your current registrar before continuing."

So I stopped the process and now need some help in unlocking my domain.

It was origonally setup with Freenetname => Madasafish => Plusnet and is "<Redacted>"

The Master email address is "<Redacted>"

I am starting the process to transfer, and the first step asks me to : "Please ensure you have unlocked your domain at your current registrar before continuing."

Do you (Plusnet) need to do something to "unlock" the domain before I proceed?

Thanks

Paul

Re: Domain transfer "unlock" request

Fix

@pttonka if its a .uk domain then no unlocking is necessary (or possible).

For a .uk domain e.g example.co.uk, you just need to request the transfer here. A staff member will resond and ask for the domain details and the new IPSTAG. They will then raise the transfer request.

For a non-uk domain e.g example.com you need an EPP code , again post here and a staff member will assist

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: Domain transfer "unlock" request

@pttonka Hi Paul, as MisterW says we need to change the IPSTAG, I've raised you a ticket that you need to reply to advising us of the new IPS tag.

Re: Domain transfer "unlock" request

Hi James,

I have replied to the email as the link requires me to login into plusnet and I do not have an account to log into so cannot progress with the link.

regards

Paul

@pttonka My apologies, that link won't work. We also can't receive any replies to emails. If you get my SMS please reply to that, failing that please log in to http://www.madasafish.com/ and you will see my ticket there.
