Domain name renewal - Freenetname

Hi

My domain originally set up by Freenetname is due for renewal this month.  It has always been renewed automatically but seeing some posts here, I am concerned that his may not happen this time.

Please can someone let me know what I need to do to ensure renewal.

Thanks

Re: Domain name renewal - Freenetname

Renewals are usually processed 14 days before expiry.  Are you less than 14 days away from expiry?  Some have been missed, but that issue is reported to have been resolved.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: Domain name renewal - Freenetname

Hi Townman

Many thanks for the quick reply.

The expiry date is 13 November 2025 which is less than 14 days away.

Last year it was renewed on 4 November 2024.

Thanks

@plusnettony - can you please point this in the direction of the appropriate person?

Re: Domain name renewal - Freenetname

Hi Townman,
I have the same problem as Fishsound.

My freenetname domain name dicha-house.co.uk is still showing as "Expiring Soon" on Nominet, on 11/11/25.

Last year it was automatically renewed on 4/11/24.
Could this be actioned for me please?
Many thanks,
Diane90

Re: Domain name renewal - Freenetname

The appropriate person might indicate that there's only one person capable of dealing with it.

An appropriate person would indicate that there may be more than one.
