Do PlusNet use CGNAT?

As title says, do PlusNet use CGNAT on new plans? About to join but want this answered. Package is FTTP 1000.

Nope, no CGNAT.
IIRC there was a trial many years ago, but it was never rolled out.

Also any idea if any ports are blocked for forwarding such as 25 (SMTP)?

Yes, as of last October static IP can't be ordered anymore.

Nope, I've previously run a mail server at home. Not that I'd advise doing it these days.

@nickshanks you will struggle to run a mailserver on a dynamic IP. It will be on the PBL and you wont be able to set rDNS.  If you are thinking of running a mailserevr then you might want to look at A & A L2TP service https://www.aa.net.uk/broadband/l2tp-service/

You might even get away with the Business light 3Mb/s limit for just a mailserver ?

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
