Down In Cumbria since 20:45. Typical it goes down when the call center is closed

Mine has literally just crashed. Error message is ‘Connected without internet’ and ‘Plusnet access control disabled’. I work from home so hope this is resolved quickly

Yup, looks like PlusNet  DNS is down. Changed my PC to use Google and it's fine.

Can't seem to be able to do that to my PlusNet router though, configuration isn't changeable. It's a Hub One.

If it’s just DNS surely there’s a way to change the router.

On the Hub Two you can override the DNS servers in IPv4 Configuration. I can't remember what the Hub One has in that regard - though thinking back I do recall you're locked into the default DNS servers unfortunately.

At least you can override it per device, even if it's more of a faff.

Yeah.  As above Plusnet DNS is down.  I've changed my router settings to use 8.8.8.8 which is google's DNS server. I'm using a tplink modem though, not a plusnet supplied one.

Down as well for a good half an hour, I'm unable to even access the hub manager though which seems odd.
Is there actually no way to contact Plusnet out of hours?

annoyingly can't set the dns servers on the bt smart hub i'm using, grrrr

According to sources it is a widespread outage

I changed my DNS to Googles to get myself back online
