Cant log in to upload to webspace

Hi,
I have recently activated frontpage extensions, yet as with the other people here cannot login to my fp site. A plusnet support analyst has replicated the problem and escalated it.
In the meantime I wondered if you could "kick" (technical term) my site for me

I dont use FrontPage, but think I remember recently a problem and it was that PN didnt support Extension properly

Thanks for the info. The techies at PN have yet to use that excuse. Hopefully they have that particular issue sorted now.

im afraid im digging up this old topic as im having the same problem 530 error when using the correct settings. any chance you can give it a kick

just thought i'd give this a nudge before the weekend im using filezilla and when i try connecting using the settings from the ftp connection page everything goes fine untill it gets to the password which is rejected with a 530 error    and yep ive checked many times the settings and password is correct like the others in this thread.

Sorry about that! System kicked in the right place, give it 4-8 hours and you should find it working perfectly

Found this thread searching for 530 error.
I now realise my web pages have disappeared altogether!
I've recently switched to the Value package, does that make a differerence?
I raised a ticket & was told I can only log in through a Plusnet connection (not home at the moment). Is that right on a paid a/c?
[Update] What I think actually happened is that the pages got zapped when I changed my package, so I've asked for them to be reinstated.

All sorted, your webspace will become active in 4-8 hours. You'll need to upload your content again from a local backup as this will have been deleted when the webspace was removed.

Just so I know, how much webspace have you allocated?
