No. The next closest pole does have one though, and I’ve checked a bunch of other addresses along the street covering all the poles, and it’s only the houses connected to ours now which are saying unavailable.
There is something new halfway way up the pole but I don’t know what it is.

Are the pictures from the pole serving your house?
I've not seen these units before. The big box at the top could be CBT as there appears to be fibre cables plugged into it and then running to houses.
The box half way up could be a heavy duty splice box.

The neighbouring poles all have something half way up them as well, but theirs seem different to ours – maybe ours isn’t complete?

The as described as the 'heavy duty splice box' would be for the copper phone lines supplied by this pole.
Openreach engineers can breakout the copper lines in the splice box for line testing, saves going up the pole.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

I assume you've checked if YouFibre is available to you.
https://www.youfibre.com/our-plans/
Decided it would be a good idea to reread the thread. The only thing I can think about for OR is they've replaced the pole because they decided it would "top heavy" for an old pole when they added an OR CBT so they put the new pole in just in case.
It appears you have the choice of either jumping ship to You Fibre or waiting to see what OR do.
