Abuse Emails from Force9 or Plusnet

Since migrating from Plusnet I get emails every 3 days. I have a couple of accounts and the primary ones get this every 3 days for the Abuse Team. I have spoken to Plusnet who now agree they no longer host my websites, they say it's automated and even though the the sites have not suddenly got bigger and each one by the same amount, I will have to put up with it. It's now been going on for 3 months and I'm sick and tried of it and have reported them to Ofcom and for sending nuisance emails for 3 months.

Subject: Your Force9 Website is over its webspace allowance

Dear Customer,

It has come to our attention that in the last 24 hours your website
has exceeded its webspace allowance. Because your site has only
gone over the webspace allowance by a small amount, no action will be
taken.

Your website was using 2327 KB over its allocation in the last day. "2327 Same figure on all my accounts"

Please take precautions to ensure that the usage on your site is
reduced, as further infringements may result in your webspace being
restricted, or even removed.

Kind regards,

PlusNet Abuse Team

@plusnettony

Is this a Greenby service communication?  If yes it should be coming from a different address, not one that infers its coming from Plusnet.  Alternatively has something gone wrong with the legacy service … or is this third party spam spoofing as being Plusnet comms.

If you can private message me the username of the relevant account, I'll look into this for you.

Re: Abuse Emails from Force9 or Plusnet

I have spoken to Plusnet they said it was them and to just keep ignoring them, they can't(maybe can't be bothered) to stop them.  And in the meantime I'm suppose to put up with emails from the Abuse Team every few days! I dread what people think if they look over my should when I'm checking emails!

Just to confirm, do you want the webspace? If not then I should be able to remove it altogether.

I don't think this is the account that you sent to Anoush. Can you PM him a list of F9 accounts you might have? Thanks.

In addition to this, I've found the account, but can't provide it here publicly. Easiest thing for you is to log into you f9 accounts and look for ticket 252873343.

Re: Abuse Emails from Force9 or Plusnet

Just takes me to plus.net/member-centre/home which is where I go when I log in anyway, I can't see how to get from there to tickets.

You'll be needing this link https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=search I think it prompts you to login if you are not already

@Dan_the_Van - strange, that’s the link I posted, and which works - for me. 😕

EDIT - no, it isn't the same link, but it ended up in the Help Centre for me.
