really, really, could do with a fresh update on the migration timescale

@James_B @plusnettony @Townman @MisterW

The silence on the current state of the migration is deafening.

Surely someone can give a broad brush overview of how much longer it will be before those us with legacy webspace get migrated?

Is it likely to be:

  • before Sept 2026?
  • before Christmas 2026?
  • Sometime in Q1 2027?
  • not until this time 2027?

Please, please, please, please show some interest in this cohort and tell us what is going on.

This is REALLY important for those under threat of being migrated to EE and at risk of LOSING THEIR EMAIL ADDRESS, even more so for the non techies !!

Re: really, really, could do with a fresh update on the migration timescale

I believe that normal accounts, i.e no webspace or hosted domain, that have a phone service, have had their migration to Greenby expedited so that any migration to EE doesn't cause loss of email.

As for the more complex accounts i.e webspace & domains, I'm afraid I don't have any update on the timeline...

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Which means those of us with webspace AND a phone line are stuffed...

Even more stuffed as, somewhere can't find it right now, there is a post (from @plusnettony I think) that told me even if I deactivate my webspace (and I can do that, it's redundant), my place in the queue won't change.

This is just hopeless.  I can't be the only person in this limbo, can I?

Can we be certain of this? There still appear to be a number of people with landlines dealing with how to proceed who, in some cases, have email accounts - I think. I may be mistaken, or possibly they fall under the "more complex accounts" situation?
