I've had this problem twice today when including an iCloud account with a couple of other e-mail address on a single e-mail from Outlook 365 as part of Office 365 on my Windows PC.
I wonder if any of the superusers here are picking up on this iCloud issue and linking back into Plusnet's technical team. We can't be the only two Plusnet e-mail users to be experiencing this problem surely?
Analysis of email delivery failure reports reflects the following servers are involved :
avasout-peh-002 [212.159.14.18] rejected by iCloud avasout-ptp-002 [84.93.230.235] rejected by iCloud avasout-ptp-004 [84.93.230.250] rejected by iCloud

So this specifies the very same requirements as does Microsoft and Gmail which both largely work fine. One therefore needs to ask the question ... why is iCloud out of step?

Another iCloud failure, format HTML. content a covering message with a 30K .xls file attached, delivery to 4x gmail and 1x AOL emails accounts worked fine.
