@ebforum As I read it, yes, it is the Enix server causing the slowdown.

John, From my brief test this morning, I'd concur with that.
I believe its already been raised but I've added my threepennyworth...
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Objective evidence has been sent to the business, though they relate to what is clearly SPAM emails, which justifiably might be handled differently. I've sent clean communications this morning which have been delivered instantly.

@Townman as stated in my original post, my objective evidence is that the problem is not aligned to Spam e-mails. None of my delayed e-mails were Spam, all being authentic sources, and as stated, including e-mails from PayPal.

@Townman To make it clear for those looking at this thread, I posted my delayed e-mail issues in the other thread as I thought the problem might be linked to any configuration changes Plusnet has implemented recently in respect of e-mails to Microsoft domains. Clearly after a couple of replies and further investigation it wasn't related, hence setting up this new thread.

I have no idea where you are seeing me mentioning an Outlook account? I referred earlier to my Outlook 365 inbox. Outlook 365 is my mail client, not my e-mail address.
Outlook 365 is also the description of the email service run by Microsoft and (at that time) your post was in a thread discussing issues delivering to Outlook 365 (and other Microsoft) platform inboxes.

Why would changes relating to delivery TO Microsoft domains impact delivery TO Plusnet mailboxes?
The issue you are seeking to describe is delivery to your Plusnet account inbox - the client you use (Outlook 365 client, Thunderbird, eM Client or Webmail etc.) has no material bearing on the issue identified. Unclear terminology and posting on the back of other threads gives rise to much confusion.
This issue is now in its own right place and is being investigated by the business, following submission of objective evidence from @jab1 and @MisterW which can be used to inspect system logs.

@Townman I suggest you need to consider how your responses are worded. Not all of us here have the detailed knowledge that you have. We might express issues in a way that does not have technical clarity. However, that should be met by forum members like you with questions to seek clarity so that a way forward can be established. You seem to focus on officious and passive aggressive responses that are simply not wanted or warranted.
You also seem to have changed your view on the problem I initially reported once others reported the same in this thread.
A bit of respect for others by you wouldn't go amiss, especially when folk like me are having e-mail challenges which are impacting our lives.

My view changed out out of clarification of context - the initial discussion was on a thread having a very different characteristic to this problem, but elements of your description inferred correlation. That creates a no win situation for anyone - either one takes the narrative at face value or has to question everything said, which typically only brings other hash words.
Detailed knowledge is essential in determining the shape of problems; that having being achieved has allowed precise profiling to be delivered quickly to the the Plusnet support team ... somewhat quicker than is usually achieved.
We are all volunteers here, giving a great deal of time freely to help other users ... but some days, I do wonder why I bother.

@ebforum I have no desire whatsoever to get into an argument here, so please consider your response (if any) carefully. I have no formal training or experience in the IT industry, but was involved in the development of probably the first large-scale intranet in the steel industry, (1974/5 if my memory is correct), way before Bill Gates thought of Microsoft, and that meant a crash-course in computing, so I knew what I could or couldn't ask those actually writing the complicated programs (in COBOL), to do.
That experience, and a couple of other similar projects I ended up on, made me realise the benefits of being very precise when describing an issue or a problem with regards to IT - it is an environment where precision is paramount, otherwise you go down rabbit-holes that lead either nowhere, or in totally he wrong direction.
Even after 50 years of computer experience, I come across issues that I need guidance from others on - like my move five years ago from Windows to Linux - and when asking for such help, I am very careful and precise in my phrasing of the questions I ask so I get the correct answers as quickly as possible.

Looking at my Mailwasher logs, it appears the delay between 'Sent' and 'Received' is down to <1 minute now, but still not instantaneous, as previously.

That's good to know that there is progress. At the moment I have nothing like the e-mail situation experienced yesterday to determine progress, e.g. I have no current interaction with PayPal to see if e-mails from them are arriving in a timely manner.

Are you able to send emails to yourself from another email address?
Diagnostic tests I have run today have delivered within 2 minutes, 4:40+ and one not yet (just on the 4 hour mark). I will run another batch at 5pm.
Question: has anyone noticed a change in SPAM volumes today?

I have just sent an e-mail from my Outlook.com e-mail address to my Plusnet address using the Outlook 365 Office app on my PC and it arrived within a couple of minutes.
I have received several spam e-mails today.

Strange you should ask that, @Townman - weirdly enough, my daily dose of 'AliExpress' rubbish hasn't materialised yet - I usually get two a day - one in a morning and one later in the day.
