Webmail identities Error

Been having an issue with creating\amending\deleting identities in webmail. I get a double error message: "Error occurred while saving" "Database Error!". Been like this for at least a week or so. I like and use this webmail feature. Any one else geeing this?

There have ben various performance issues with the webmail service recently.  Which email brand are you using?  Has your mail account been migrated yet?

Brand? You mean client? Just using a browser. Chrome. Interface looks the same except for the "sort disabled" message on the logon page which has been there for months. How would I know if I've been migrated?

Ah. My default is a *.plus.com although I do have another domain too. Probably not relevant.

Do you use that domain for email (although as you say, probably not relevant)?

If you retry the action fo you get an error again?  You might need to logout and login again.  That looks like a transient error.

Yes. Tried multiple times, different days, different browsers, Incognito\private mode. Even different machines\OS. Same error every time I attempt to make a change to the identities. "Error occurred while saving" "Database Error!"

Any ideas on this one?  My first thought was IMAP sever performance issues - but then I reflected that TTBOMK identity information is not held within the IMAP server, but within the webmail web service database.

Using a not migrated Plusnet mail account, I created a new identity using my hosted domain name; I saw a green success banner and a red database error warning.

After some client issues (phone died) I logged in again and successfully created new identities and modified existing ones.

The issue has been escalated and is being looked at.

Any news? This effectively has me in "receive only" mode for those whom I have not previously set up an identity.
