Then BT, Plusnet's owner, should have plenty of experience to fall back on. Or is Greenby just not up to Yahoo's level?

Then they marched them down again!

Re: Update on Plusnet email migration to Greenby

Email down again, Greenby login to control panel not recognised AGAIN. Tells me to call plusnet - AGAIN! How many more problems with this useless, unusable, unreliable, intermittent email service do PLusnet expect customers to tolerate before cancelling contract altogether and going elsewhere????

Same here - message from Thunderbird that log into PN failed - and I can't log in to the webmail interface either.

Re: Update on Plusnet email migration to Greenby

It was intermittently the same for me this morning, both Webmail and Thunderbird.  This is really no good. A functioning email address is not just incidental to most people's lives nowadays.  I'm not yet, as far as I can tell. migrated to Greenby.

Company Law requires DIrectors of a COmpany to "act in the best interests of the company".  Do we feel confident that the three individual Directors and one corporate Director of Plusnet are actually doing so?

Plusnet's company directors are probably being told as little as we are about what is going on and what remains to be done in the grand migration to Greenby. The only difference is they don't care.

Re: Update on Plusnet email migration to Greenby

In my experience of these things the Directors primary responsibilities are to the shareholders afaik. Not necessarily the same as customers interests.

BT can easily justify ditching the Plusnet email service on the ongoing costs of maintaining a legacy system. Also it moves the Plusnet brand in the BT group strategic direction of a no frills service.

Enix can justify the acquisition of Plusnets email base on an expansion and potential future growth of their business ( in theory )

The loss of a few customers on the way is usually priced into the plans and risk analysis.
You can check out but you can never leave ( easily)

Snap! Me too. Over 200 over the weekend. Today 261 in Junk and another 50 in Inbox. Genuine ones in Junk too so have to plough through them all in case I miss something important. Mark them as Spam or not Spam but next day same again. Over 20 years with Plusnet and have been dumped and dumped on. Good customer service?

Same here. I keep marking as "Not Spam" but to no avail. With Plusnet since they were Force9 in 1997.

Re: Update on Plusnet email migration to Greenby

I've not had any communication of when my account will be migrated.  Two days ago I stopped receiving any email from Plusnet and any I send are returned.  So who can I turn to for support now???? 🤬

IF your account info on the forums is correct, it looks like you've  been migrated. Do you remember any emails from Greenby around the start of last month?

Re: Update on Plusnet email migration to Greenby

I'm migrated.

With Plusnet I had several mailboxes, the "admin" one had the format: <account>@<account>.plus.com
That was were I would have expected migration information to be sent.

My regular mailbox had the format: <me>@<account>.plus.com

I also had an old unused mailbox called <random>@<account>.plus.com

Guess which one was used for migration information? Expected, regular, or unused.
The latter!
So check all of them.

Re: Update on Plusnet email migration to Greenby

Plusnettony:

No, I've not had any emails from Greenby. What should I do?  I don't have any credentials to log in to Greenby with, so I can't log in and raise a ticket!

PS: I'm very diligent checking for emails in trash, etc.

I can still log in to Plusnet web mail via my browser, but the last emails received were dated 3rd April, and when I try to send a new email I get 'authentication failed'.

Re: Update on Plusnet email migration to Greenby

@SkylineUK_Dup Maybe I was lucky, but I got into the Greenby dashboard using my Accountname and account password.
